It's been a crazzzzzzzy weekend (and even week preceding, to be honest) and I'm still not back from 'digupafrozengardenandmoveallthestuffandbuildafenceeventhoughweveneverbuiltanythingtogetherbefore-land'. In all of this panic and mayhem, I haven't even visited the thrift store in at least 2 weeks (apart from my foray into Goodwill on the holiest of days on the thrifting calendar, 50% off day. I have a 'new' project in mind for the last few weeks and call upon you, my Ottawa Valley Friends to help out. I'm building a thrift store site and want to know, 'what's the best thrift store in the Valley?'. Where do you like to shop? Find anything cool? Bizarre? Just to strange for words? An amazing deal? I frequent: St. Vincent's De Paul, Attic on Dalhousie, Aunt Olive's on Gilmour.
It is too bad the Synagogue Shop on Rosemount is gone -- that was a killer shop, I found cashmere sweaters, Dior and St. Laurent, 50s suits for ladies and men, a great linens!
